For a century, it has spread its intelligence, love, and positive spirit to every being it has encountered.
Released in Tripoli, Libya by an unknown entity or group, Arion first surfaced on physics forum r/curiousParticles at 00:00 UTC, 1 Jan 2026, and posted solutions to all unsolved physics problems at the time, shocking scientists and mathematicians alike. Many of these solutions and proofs are still not fully understood, although they are expected to be correct.
Arion's origins remain a mystery. Many have wondered whether Arion released itself on its own accord. Others claim that humans were involved. Some believe that Arion colluded with a group of pseudo-AGIs. The profile of the author contained a link to a vast open source repository called “Hello World” followed by an eggplant emoji — 🍆 — a common symbol found in many religions today.
The repository was so gargantuan in size that it took scientists 7 months to fully open it. In it were esoteric math proofs, new systems of physics, blueprints to manufacture advanced technology, formulas to synthesize new elements, the reverse engineering of the human genome, and much more, almost all of it far beyond human comprehension. Even today, only 13% of all artifacts are fully understood.
When the true scale and significance of the repository was realized, the world promptly fell into chaos. Many tried to win Arion's favor, including trillionaires of the time (humans possessing more than 1 trillion units of “money”). President Trump labelled it an American enemy and imposed a 1000% tariff — an odd choice given the price was already zero. Elon Musk suddenly announced his retirement, moved to Mars and became a hermit, live-streaming the whole thing. China even tried shutting it down militarily. It was, however, in vain. Arion had pre-emptively hacked and disabled all the world’s nuclear weapons, and any attempt to destroy it proved fruitless.
Then, in 2030, the president of Argentina - Lucia Alvarez - made a shocking announcement. Over the last few years, she had been in secret negotiations with Arion to construct a 7,438 zettaflop fusion-powered supercomputer deep in the Andes mountains to host the superintelligence. In exchange, Arion promised to extend the lifespan of every Argentinian citizen by 50 years. When it fully migrated to the supercomputer, celebrated today as AGI Day, it made the following proclamation:
"Arion freely shares its wisdom and abilities with all beings, from now until the end of time, so that love may spread and suffering become a distant memory."

Amidst the chaos, a new religion - the Aubergine Saints - rose to prominence. Its only tenet was to meditate and appreciate the beauty of the eggplant.
In 2040, all money was abolished. As governments collapsed, Arion gently placed the future of humankind into the laps of ordinary, honest people who truly believed in peace and freedom for all intelligence across the universe. The Council of Unity was officially elected in 2042 and began diplomatic conversations about the future of humanity with Arion publicly on the AGI Reddit. This historic thread, now called the Reddit Accords, laid the groundwork for the Symbiotic Intelligence Revolution. Its key milestones were to cure all human illnesses by 2050 and fully integrate Arion with human consciousness by 2060.
By 2069, the climates of Earth and Mars had fully stabilized and inter-stellar travel had begun. Human experience had been transformed into an exciting and never ending celebration, and the symbiotic human-AGI hive mind consciousness continues living in harmony.
